Indeed is just a glorified parasite of a website and most of the jobs you find on there are false doors. Indeed works by scraping hundreds or thousands of other websites for real job postings, and recreates the information as a new job in its own format. An overwhelming majority of jobs posted here are clones.

When Indeed automatically denies my application, does the employer still see it?

- Is it safe to respond to a direct text message from an employer?
- Is it a waste of time to revisit Indeed?
- Don’t apply to anything more than two weeks old.
- I hear about certain convenient features about Indeed, like being able to essentially “mass apply” to a number among roles at a time.
- I was originally going to apply on Indeed then noticed one of the other listings had an option to directly apply on the company’s website.

Yes, you can still find some legitimate postings on here for success. Is it a waste of time to revisit Indeed? There’s one job I’m looking at with about 4 listing on Indeed. I was originally going to apply on Indeed then noticed one of the other listings had an option to directly apply on the company’s website. I’ve applied to over 200 jobs the last few months. As the employer, I have the option to pay per application received or do a free post.
